Project Outline
After completing the UCD Students’ Union website, House of Design was asked to design and build a new website for the University Observer, a student-run newspaper and news site in Ireland's largest university.
The overall design features impactful news articles with large images and title to instantly engage the visitor with the latest news. With the news being the entire site rather than a self-contained section and over a decade's worth of articles to import from their existing site, we needed to rethink and rework some of our processes for this site while remaining conscious of the time management factor for editors contributing and maintaining such a large volume of articles across various categories.
