Project Outline

We worked with Odyssey Convention Ireland and their client, the Irish Blood Transfusion Service to produce a uniquely designed and printed bid document for the International Society of Blood Transfusion Congress.

The purpose of the document was to showcase Dublin and its surroundings as an ideal location to host one of Ireland's largest international conventions. It was important that the document presented the unique, distinctive and historical character of Dublin as well as logistical information such as hotel capacity and venue details.

The design presented the information in a clear and professional manner and allowed the photography and specialised print finishes to capture the imagination and emotions. Attention to detail was critical as many different paper stocks were combined with silver foil embossing, spot colour printing and a special book binding process. The proposal was presented in a uniquely handmade linen presentation folder that had three of the proposals inserted within.
